Wiz, Shwed and Kramer headline Israel’s tech billionaire list

Cybersecurity pioneers lead the country’s growing high-tech fortunes.

A record 52 Israelis made Forbes magazine’s 2026 list of the world’s billionaires, with their combined wealth reaching $308 billion, a 24% increase from last year and a 50% jump since 2024. While the overall list spans industries from shipping to real estate, it is Israel’s technology sector that stands out, showcasing a new generation of global innovators who have translated startups into vast fortunes.
Among the tech elite, Yuri Milner, known for his investments in cutting-edge startups, tops the list with a net worth of $8.7 billion. Venture capital and software pioneers also feature prominently. Gil Shwed, the founder of Check Point, holds $4.5 billion, while Arkady Volozh of Nebius is listed at $3.2 billion. Cybersecurity innovators from Israel’s bustling startup ecosystem make a strong showing: the founders of the security startup Wiz, Assaf Rappaport, Roy Reznik, Yinon Costica, and Ami Luttwak, each appear with fortunes of $2.3 billion.

Other software and tech investors include Shlomo Kramer, who combines software and investment ventures to amass $2.4 billion, and Marius Nacht, a veteran entrepreneur with a $1.8 billion fortune.
The tech sector’s influence is also evident in emerging fields. Amnon Shashua, the automotive technology innovator behind Mobileye, is valued at $1.8 billion. Meanwhile, investors like Oren Zeev ($2 billion) continue to fuel early-stage startups that could define the next wave of tech billionaires.
