Former SentinelOne leaders secure $50 million for stealth cyber startup

Neo Security has now raised more than $75 million as investors continue backing next-generation cybersecurity companies.

Neo Security is still operating in stealth mode, but Calcalist has learned that the company, founded in 2025 by three former executives of Israeli-American cybersecurity firm SentinelOne, is raising more than $50 million in a new funding round.
The founding team includes Nicholas Warner, who serves as CEO and previously served as President and COO of SentinelOne; Shlomi Salem, the company's Chief Product Officer (CPO), who previously served as SentinelOne's Vice President of Research; and Eran Shirazi, who brings extensive experience in software development and research and previously served as VP of Research at Any.do.

In its Seed round in 2025, Neo Security raised $25 million, led by Silicon Valley venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Merlin Ventures. In the new financing round, which recently closed, the company raised more than $50 million, with Kraft Group joining the investor syndicate.
According to industry estimates, Neo is developing a security platform designed to bridge the gaps between endpoint, network, and identity security. Although the company has disclosed few details about its technology, it published research in March exposing a massive data leak at an accounting firm that included sensitive information such as database schemas, API keys, and authentication tokens.
Andreessen Horowitz has significantly expanded its presence in Israel in recent years, making at least seven investments in Israeli startups during 2024 alone after previously focusing primarily on Silicon Valley. The fund is also one of the biggest beneficiaries of its investment in Wiz, which was acquired by Google for approximately $32 billion, and has increasingly concentrated its investments on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence companies.
