Four Wiz founders enter global billionaires list with $1 billion each

According to Forbes, CEO Assaf Rappaport, CTO Ami Luttwak, VP Product Yinon Costica, and VP R&D Roy Reznik are now among the world’s 2,781 billionaires. Another new entrant is monday.com co-CEO Roy Mann with $1.3 billion. There are 36 Israelis on the list in total, with Eyal Ofer leading the way with $24 billion

The world billionaires list includes 36 Israeli this year, including five new entrants. Four of them come from cybersecurity decacorn Wiz, which is valued at over $10 billion. Wiz was founded in March 2020 by CEO Assaf Rappaport, CTO Ami Luttwak, VP Product Yinon Costica, and VP R&D Roy Reznik, who according to Forbes now all have a personal fortune of around $1 billion.
Rappaport was previously General Manager of R&D at Microsoft Israel after having sold his previous company Adallom to the tech giant for $320 million in 2015. Wiz’s other co-founders have been with Rappaport since his days in the military and filled various roles at Adallom, too.

Another new entrant is monday.com co-CEO Roy Mann with $1.3 billion. The company’s shares have risen by 54% over the past year.
The top Israeli among the world’s 2,781 billionaires is Eyal Ofer with a fortune of $24 billion, giving him the 84th position overall. His brother Idan Ofer is valued at $15.8 billion.
Brothers Dmitry and Igor Bukhman, who made their fortune in gaming, are each valued at $9 billion, followed by Teddy Sagi with $6.4 billion. Check Point co-founder Gil Shwed, who recently announced his decision to step down as CEO, is valued at $4.4 billion.
The list is headed by Bernard Arnault ($233 billion), followed by Elon Musk ($195 billion), Jeff Bezos ($194 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($177 billion), Larry Ellison ($141 billion), Warren Buffett ($133 billion), and Bill Gates ($128 billion).
