The non-profit said it is strategically changing its operating model to reflect the maturity of the Israeli innovation ecosystem and its global leadership. Moving forward, Startup Nation Central will adopt a leaner organizational structure and focus on a smaller set of high-impact initiatives aligned with current priorities. The staff reduction mirrors this more focused scope, while the organization maintains its commitment to Israel’s tech ecosystem, leveraging its credibility, connections, and experience to support economic resilience and continued innovation leadership.
Aviva Steinberger, Interim CEO of Startup Nation Central, said: “Startup Nation Central was founded to meet the needs of a certain period, and together we helped shape an ecosystem that is now strong, global, and independent. The evolution we are announcing today reflects that success. As Israel’s innovation landscape changes, so must we. By sharpening our focus and aligning resources with today’s most strategic needs, we will continue to serve the ecosystem in meaningful and impactful ways.”
