"To build a company here in Israel for the last four years is not an easy mission," reflected Appcharge Co-Founder and General Manager Roei Barassi, whose company took home Startup of the Year at the Tech1 Gala and Awards night. "We started Appcharge four years ago with a big dream of two co-founders to make the mobile game industry better," he added.
Speaking to CTech’s Amy Shapiro on the night, Barassi teased the potential expansion of Appcharge beyond their current market. While noting they are "still building the current one," he revealed tentative plans to start exploring the "next verticals more than just mobile games."
