ISRAEL AT WAR
How a Tesla saved an Israeli driver's life from the murderous Hamas attack

"They aimed at the front, hoping to damage a non-existent engine, and at the rear, attempting to ignite a fuel tank that wasn't present," recounted an Israeli survivor from Hamas' attack last weekend

Among the hundreds of stories and testimonies about the brutal massacres committed by Hamas terrorists last week in Israeli cities, the story about the miracle of a Tesla Model 3 car that saved the life of its owner stands out.
A few minutes after the invasion of the Hamas terrorists into the Israeli cities on the border of the Gaza Strip, G', a resident of Kibbutz Mefalsim, was also called to help the local emergency squad. He got into his Tesla Model 3 Performance and started driving to the assembly point.
"The terrorists spotted me from a distance of 10 yards. Alongside their Kalashnikovs, they possessed a machine gun firing larger caliber bullets," G' recounted to the Israeli news website Walla. "Unaware it was an electric vehicle, they aimed at the front, hoping to damage a non-existent engine, and at the rear, attempting to ignite a fuel tank that wasn't present. Naturally, there was no fuel tank, so they targeted my tires. I swiftly accelerated, prompting them to give chase."
It was a battle between murderous terrorists organized and armed to the teeth and an innocent civilian who was caught in a brutal and hideous ambush.
The Toyota truck faced a lone driver in a private car in an encounter that wasn't just about vehicles; it symbolized a clash between traditional diesel power and the emerging electric revolution. Approximately 15 well-armed terrorists stood face to face with a wounded but unwavering driver, thrust into a life-and-death struggle hundreds of meters away from his own home.
"They targeted my tires, but the incredible acceleration of the Tesla shone even in this dire circumstance, and the dual drive system skillfully kept me on the road. Swiftly, I distanced myself from them. However, the urgency to reach the hospital dawned on me, and I raced at a blistering 112 mph with deflated tires. The tires gradually disintegrated, but the dual drive mechanism maintained stability, even as some of the wheels came perilously close to riding on the rims. According to the app, I maintained a speed of approximately 110 mph throughout the ordeal." said G'.
This amazing story was first reported on the Tesla Israel Telegram channel, and following a report on X, Elon Musk, founder of both Tesla and X, reacted and wrote: "Glad he made it!". Last week, Musk announced that all Tesla Superchargers in Israel will be free for use until further notice following Hamas’ terror attacks.
Bullets hit G' in the legs and hand, as well as in the skull, and he was also hit by shrapnel. "The car continued to drive, the battery didn't heat up, but it took a lot of damage. There is no part that didn't take a bullet. It still drives if you press the pedal, but it seems to me that I should already be thinking about my next Tesla", he told the Israeli news website.
