Arrow missile maker IAI to hand out over $70 million in bonuses after record profit
State-owned defense giant rewards workers after record earnings and wartime operations.
Management at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and the company’s employees have reached an agreement on bonuses following its strong financial performance.
Approximately 14,000 IAI employees will receive a flat bonus of NIS 6,555 (approximately $2,155) in the coming days, ahead of Passover. The decision was finalized in recent days as part of an agreement between CEO Boaz Levy and workers’ union chairman Yair Katz, and approved by Roi Kahlon, director of the Government Companies Authority.
The bonuses reflect roughly 10% of IAI’s net profit for 2025, which reached $712 million, a record high, alongside annual revenue of $7.4 billion. As a government-owned company, IAI is also set to distribute a dividend equal to half of its net profit to the state.
In addition to the flat bonus to be paid before Passover, some employees will receive differential bonuses after the holiday, based on individual performance and the achievement of targets, as assessed by management. Last year, the maximum differential bonus reached approximately NIS 15,000 ($4,840), and it is expected to be higher this year.
According to Katz, the differential bonuses will be awarded to employees who continued reporting to work during the ongoing war.
The total bonus pool for employees at IAI and its subsidiary Elta Systems is estimated at approximately NIS 210 million.
