Eyal Ron Appointed Site Lead at Rubrik Israel
Eyal steps into his new role following Amit Shaked’s promotion to Vice President, Strategy and Security
Security and AI company Rubrik announces the appointment of Eyal Ron as the new Site Lead for Rubrik Israel. Eyal succeeds Amit Shaked, who has transitioned to the role of Vice President, Strategy and Security. Amit’s move to this global position will allow him to drive Rubrik’s strategic initiatives and strengthen its security capabilities worldwide.
Eyal’s career in the cybersecurity space spans more than 13 years, beginning with his studies in Physics and Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University as part of the Psagot Elite program and later in the Israeli Military Intelligence (Unit 8200), where he served for six years in multiple engineering and leadership roles. Following his release, Eyal joined CyberMDX as a Senior Software Engineer and later moved on to Laminar, a startup focused on DSPM & cloud security, acquired by Rubrik in 2023. At Rubrik, Eyal took on the role of Director of Engineering for Rubrik Israel. In his new position, Eyal will continue his role as Head of Engineering while taking on the additional responsibility of Site Lead for Rubrik Israel.
