Partner Communications launches global business division to expand international reach
New VP Nissan Arieh to lead efforts in building global telecom partnerships and fiber infrastructure agreements.
Partner Communications Group, a leading Israeli telecommunications provider, has announced the establishment of a new global business division, signaling its intent to expand its footprint beyond Israel. The division, which will be led by Nissan Arieh, the newly appointed Vice President, is set to focus on expanding the company’s international relationships and partnerships.
The division will be tasked with overseeing Partner’s business relationships with telecom operators both within Israel and internationally. It will also work to strengthen connections with global companies looking to operate in Israel or to leverage Israeli infrastructure for services across borders. Among the key areas of focus will be partnerships in roaming, data, voice, and IoT, alongside efforts to secure international fiber infrastructure agreements. A notable deal already in the pipeline is Partner’s dark fiber agreement with Tamares Telecom, spanning from the Jordanian-Israeli border to Haifa.
Arieh, who co-founded and served as CEO of Unigaea, a communications infrastructure company specializing in data center interconnect services, brings decades of experience in the global telecom sector. Prior to this role, he spent over 20 years at Bezeq International, where he served as Vice President of Global Business.
Partner Group CEO, Avi Gabbay, said: “From my many years of acquaintance with Nissan, I am confident that his many connections and extensive professional experience will lead us to growth in the field and to wider use of our infrastructure.”
