Team8 appoints Asaf Azulay and Dror Grof as new Partners

Team8 has announced that it has appointed Asaf Azulay and Dror Grof to serve as Partners, with the former also serving as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and the latter as Ideation Lead in the Digital Health Foundry, respectively.
“Our unique model requires the finest Go-to-Market personnel, alongside those specializing in strategy, research, and development to identify new opportunities, validate new ideas, and build companies,” said Yuval Shachar, Chairman and Managing Partner of Team8. “The two new partners will play a strategic role in building the future of Team8 and empowering our portfolio companies. The promotions of Asaf and Dror to the group's management is a natural progression and is a testament to their accomplishments.”

Azulay will be responsible for the marketing strategies of portfolio companies, the group, and its funds. He joined Team8 in 2022 and has been behind previous projects such as the strategic CISO Village and Founders Village initiatives. Before joining Team8, he served as CMO at Bank Hapoalim for over five years and before then as CEO of BBDO IM, the strategic consulting arm of BBDO.
Grof, who joined Team8 in 2021, will oversee research in the digital health branch and lead the investment expansion and establishment of companies within the foundry. Before Team8, he was part of the founding team and VP of Research at one of its portfolio companies, Noogata, and before that, he co-founded and led Mining Science, a data-science think tank. Grof also co-founded Gonutss, a B2C digital health tool.
Team8 is a global venture group investing in companies relating to Cyber, AI, fintech, and digital health. It works with founders to identify problems and build companies that tackle challenges.
