“There are many interesting opportunities that aren't in cyber or AI”
Qumra Capital Managing Partner Boaz Dinte highlights that while growth capital is concentrating in cyber and AI, the most compelling opportunities lie in "physical AI" and companies that leverage resilience.

"A lot of money is being invested in growth, but when you look at the number of companies that raise money in growth, actually there's a decline in the number of companies. So what you're seeing is more concentrated, a lot more money is coming into companies in the rounds, and you're seeing very, very specific sectors,” explained Boaz Dinte, Managing Partner and co-founder at Qumra.
Dinte spoke with CTech’s Allon Sinai during the Calcalist and Bank Leumi Mind the Tech New York 2026 conference. He elaborated on current trends in the market, highlighting that a lot of money is pouring into cyber, defense and, of course, AI.
“Outside of those areas you're seeing much less activity and actually that's where we see a lot of interesting opportunities. A lot of bets are going on to very, very specific sectors which are very exciting. It's not to say they're not good sectors, they're great sectors and there's great companies coming out of those sectors, but all the other sectors that don't fall into cyber or AI are missing out.”
