AnyVision alumni return with $10 million Seed round for legal AI startup
Chamelio targets knowledge loss inside corporate legal departments and has already added approximately 100 customers across the U.S., Israel, and other markets, including the likes of Wiz, WSC Sports, Global-e, Lightricks, Fiverr and Cellebrite.
Israeli startup Chamelio, founded in part by alumni of AnyVision, has raised $10 million in a Seed round led by Work-Bench and Emerge, with participation from additional investors. Chamelio develops an AI-powered platform designed to manage the activities and information of in-house legal departments.
AnyVision was considered a pioneer in artificial intelligence and advanced facial recognition systems, and over the years made headlines both for technological breakthroughs and for a series of public controversies.
Chamelio was founded in 2024 by Alex Zilberman, who previously held leadership roles at Pagaya and was COO and a co-founder of AnyVision. Chamelio COO and co-founder Gil Banyas brings 15 years of legal experience, including serving as general counsel at AnyVision. CTO and co-founder Gal Lellouche previously founded an AI company acquired by Sage, where he later held senior AI leadership roles.
The company employs 20 people across Israel, the U.S., and other locations worldwide, and is currently expanding its development center in Israel by recruiting additional engineers.
Chamelio uses artificial intelligence to centralize legal workflows, replacing a patchwork of disconnected tools with a single platform that manages all stages of legal work, from contract drafting through execution and signing.
According to the company, within a year of launching its product it has signed approximately 100 customers across the U.S., Israel, and other markets, including WSC Sports, Integrity, Socure, Global-e, Lightricks, Wiz, Fiverr and Cellebrite.
The newly raised funds will be used to accelerate product development and expand marketing efforts, as the company responds to growing demand from in-house legal teams.
“We alleviate the corporate amnesia afflicting many legal departments,” said Alex Zilberman, CEO and co-founder of Chamelio. “Without a legal intelligence platform, critical context is lost every time a new contract is signed or a lawyer leaves the firm. We help legal departments eliminate the outdated search-and-retrieve model and implement a solution that uses past negotiations and policies to actively inform workflows and decisions.”
