Link Ventures appoints Boaz Fachler as Principal

“As an Israeli, the recent attacks are heart-wrenching, but they only strengthen our resolve to invest, as Israeli startups are resilient and rise in times of distress,” he said.

U.S.-based early-stage venture capital firm Link Ventures has announced it has added Israeli Boaz Fachler to its investment team. He will manage investment through the Link Ventures 3 (LV3) Fund, including vetting, due diligence, and execution. The firm has already invested in several Israeli companies to date and will continue to do so amid the war due to its focus on AI and data companies.
"I feel privileged to join the outstanding team at Link Ventures in this pivotal era of AI breakthrough,” said Fachler. “With its vast experience in financing, building, and scaling startups, the Link team is the right choice for talented and ambitious entrepreneurs when looking to partner with investors… As an Israeli, the recent attacks are heart-wrenching, but they only strengthen our resolve to invest, as Israeli startups are resilient and rise in times of distress.”

Fachler will manage investment primarily from the Boston and Israel ecosystems. He recently worked for a Boston-based growth equity firm and invested in early-stage startups as an angel investor. Before joining Link Ventures, he worked as a founder, business developer, and software analyst for startups. In addition, he worked for Israeli law firm Herzog Fox & Neeman as a high-tech M&A lawyer, representing startups and Fortune 100 companies such as Meta, Salesforce, and Tencent.
"Boaz will add significant strength to the Link team. His strong network in the Israel and Boston ecosystems, along with his experience and skill set, will help us to identify and support the next generation of world-changing companies successfully," added Dave Blundin, the firm’s founder. "Israel fits our investment thesis, as it has one of the strongest talent pools, with characteristics similar to the Boston ecosystem.”
Link Ventures was founded in 2006 and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It invests in early-stage technology companies with potential in data science, machine learning, and AI.
