In his role, Volk will be responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and guiding the growth of startups while contributing to the firm’s overall strategy. Prior to joining Ground Up Ventures, he held key positions in Wix and Microsoft where he previously identified and nurtured startups. The appointment underscores the firm’s commitment to expanding its footprint around the world and deepening its engagement with the Israeli tech sector despite the war with Hamas.
"We are excited to welcome Navot to our team," added David Stark, Managing Partner at Ground Up Ventures. "His experience, combined with his deep understanding of the startup landscape, especially in Israel, will be instrumental in driving our growth strategies and supporting our portfolio companies."
