Israel’s cyber front intensifies as attack attempts and alerts soar

National Cyber Directorate data reveals growing pressure on organizations and critical infrastructure.

During 2025, Israel’s National Cyber Directorate sent organizations 2,304 targeted alerts warning of attempted cyberattacks, a jump of nearly 350% compared with the previous year, according to the agency’s annual report published Wednesday.
“The year 2025 demonstrated even more clearly that there is no ceasefire in cyberspace, and that cyber is a central strategic front in national security,” said Yossi Karadi, head of the National Cyber Directorate. “The conclusion emerging from the data is clear: every organization, system and citizen is a target for attacks that seek to harm operational continuity and national resilience. In response to this reality, the National Cyber Directorate fulfilled its primary mission, protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring the continuous functioning of the State of Israel.”
