
Wisor AI wins Tech1 startup competition with global freight solution
Wisor AI is a SaaS company that helps freight forwarders streamline their operations and increase profitability. FormX came in second place and Cyvore was third. The competition was managed by EY and led by partner Elad Sternlicht.
Wisor AI took first place in The Podium startup competition at the Tech1 conference in Eilat. FormX placed second, and Cyvore came in third. The event, held against the backdrop of a tough year for the Israeli tech ecosystem, showcased startups with artificial intelligence at the core of their technologies.
Raz Ronen, CEO and co-founder of Wisor AI, addressed the audience during the award ceremony: “We are going through a difficult time. Many of us are experiencing it both in business and personal cycles. I served 300 days in the IDF reserves, please show compassion to everyone around you until we bring peace to our small neighborhood.”
The competition's theme was dominated by artificial intelligence, with all finalist startups incorporating AI either as a foundational layer or a key component of their offering. The companies that sponsored and awarded the prizes were Bright Data, RavTech, Rooms, and HiTech Zone.
The finalists included: Wisor AI, FormX, Cyvore, Canotera, CapStack, Bagel AI, Muvan AI, Deep Learning Robotics, and Pillar Security.
Wisor AI: First Place
Wisor AI is a SaaS company that helps freight forwarders streamline their operations and increase profitability. Its platform allows logistics providers to generate and send global shipping quotes within minutes, automating what used to be a time-consuming manual process.
Wisor AI’s system integrates seamlessly into existing workflows and supports over 300,000 traditional shipping companies in improving efficiency, reducing operational costs, and boosting revenue. The company was founded by Raz Ronen (CEO), Ido Karavany (CTO), and Eiran Bolless (VP of Data and Analytics). To date, Wisor has raised $23 million from investors including Team8, New Era, Ocean Azul Partners, and HICO Investment Group.
FormX: Second Place
FormX, the runner-up, is tackling the U.S. housing crisis with software-driven homebuilding. Its CEO, Shay Hasson, explained: “We work with clients building family homes. We sell kits, from the design phase all the way to handing over the key. We use technology to handle everything, almost without humans. We currently build in California, and our software is tailored to local regulations.”
FormX specializes in constructing additional dwelling units (ADUs) and backyard offices using modern methods. Its solution manages the full lifecycle, from architectural design and permits to on-site assembly. This approach shortens build times, reduces noise and disruption, and provides homeowners with an efficient, streamlined alternative to traditional construction.
The company was founded by Gal Rozensweig (CEO), Shay Hasson (COO), and Nami Gheidar (CPO).

Cyvore: Third Place
Cyvore, the third-place winner, is an Israeli cybersecurity startup focused on securing remote and hybrid workplaces. Founded in August 2024 and based in Tel Aviv, Cyvore specializes in AI-driven defense against phishing, deepfake attacks, and real-time social engineering.
The company uses a combination of machine learning, behavioral analysis, and AI to identify and neutralize sophisticated digital threats. Its technology is particularly attuned to the evolving risks of digital work environments.
Cyvore was founded by Ori Segal (CEO), Yiftach Rotem (CPO), and Yoav Rotem (CTO). In April 2025, the company raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by 1948VC and Ineffable VC, with participation from several angel investors. During the ceremony, CEO Ori Segal thanked the voters and his co-founders for their partnership and vision.
