He joined Microsoft seven years ago as Public Sector Lead, VP, in Israel and was later appointed GM.
In a letter to employees, Haimovich wrote: “Microsoft, and Microsoft Israel in particular, have shaped both my professional and personal journey since the day I joined in 2019. Together, we have built something truly meaningful, navigating complexities and change while positioning Israel as one of Microsoft’s fastest-growing markets globally. We accelerated the adoption of cloud and artificial intelligence, launched local cloud infrastructure, strengthened our cyber operations, and established Microsoft as a strategic platform for startups across Israel. But above all these achievements, one thing defines Microsoft Israel more than anything else: its people.”
