"I am a great believer in Joyned's pioneering solution, which I think has huge potential,” said Elbaz. “I look forward to contributing to the success of the solution and of the company. From the first moment, I felt connected to Joyned's entrepreneurs, to the fresh and innovative spirit of the founders and the team. All these played a major role in my decision to join the company."

The solution developed by Joyned enables social communication on travel and tourism sites and transforms booking into a shared experience. While browsing the website or app, users can send their friends or family a live chat invitation during which everyone can see the content of the site, discuss it, and decide together.
Joyned was founded by Jonathan Abraham (CEO) and Michael Levinson (VP Product) and has 15 employees, most of them at the company's offices in Jerusalem. The company has raised $4 million in funding from private investors, including entrepreneur and angel Yair Goldfinger, who sold Mirabilis to AOL for $407 million; Arthur Stark, who served for 44 years as president of Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Rafi Ashkenazi, currently director of management and acting chairman of Hard Rock Digital, the creator of the Hard Rock coffee chain.
