"HP continues to invest in its HP Israel facilities, manufacturing and growing the industrial business," HP said in a statement. "This decision creates capacity to reinvest in growth priorities while adapting to current market challenges. HP continues to innovate and create customer value and remains focused on driving the continued digitization of industry with agility, creativity, and cutting-edge technologies. We are committed to treating people with transparency, fairness, compassion, and respect."
The latest layoffs come on the back of HP laying off around 60 employees from its Netanya branch last October which previously served as a site for Scitex Vision, sold to HP in 2005. Following the layoffs, most of HP’s activity in Israel is concentrated under Indigo, which HP acquired in 2001.

HP Scitex was part of the conglomerate’s industrial activity, manufacturing digital printers, mainly for the packaging and signage sectors.
