Redefine.dev raises $8.5 million Seed round for AI-powered software optimization platform

The company’s CI (continuous integration) platform aims to accelerate software development cycles and dramatically cut cloud expenses

Redefine.dev announced on Monday that it has raised $8.5 million in a Seed round led by Gillot Capital, featuring investments from industry leaders such as Nitzan Shapira and Ran Ribenzaft (founders of Epsagon), Efrat Rapoport (Head of Salesforce Israel R&D Center), Assaf Ezra (founder of Granulate), Simon Perryman (former VP of Development at Twitch), and Farhan Thawar (VP of Development at Shopify).

Redefine's uses static code analysis and AI to identify relevant tests for each new code change and minimize feedback time for developers. The company operates on a SaaS model and boasts partnerships with Intel, Claroty, Salesforce, Pagaya, and more.
Founded in 2022 by CEO Lior Neuman (former R&D officer in 8200) and CTO Ayal Regev (former cyber course commander and researcher at Unit 81), Redefine has a team of 25 employees in Tel Aviv and plans to use the Seed funding for personnel recruitment and acceleration of development.
