"Until AI, software was mainly passive," says Michal Lupu, Co-Founder and CEO of Blocks. Lupu spoke to CTech’s Amy Shapiro at Calcalist’s annual Top 50 Most Promising Startups event in Tel Aviv, where Blocks ranked 50th. Founded by former monday.com executives, Blocks develops a platform for building smart tools and AI agents, driven by the awareness that "AI software is becoming active and it drives work forward."
"We really understood that this is the next digital transformation," notes Lupu.
Blocks facilitates this transformation by allowing teams to "build their own custom AI systems and AI agents" that fit their specific organizational processes. “We really wanted to make it accessible to everyone,” says Lupu. Reflecting on her journey as a founder, she states that selecting "the best partner and the best founding team” is the critical ingredient to a successful startup journey.
