Redis announces the appointment of Yaron Avisror as SVP Software Engineering
Avisror will lead the company’s global engineering organization and oversee technology development and product delivery.
Redis has announced the appointment of Yaron Avisror as Senior Vice President of Software Engineering. In his new role, Avisror will lead the company’s global engineering organization and oversee technology development and product delivery, with a focus on driving customer value, operational excellence, and scalable growth.
Avisror will also lead Redis’s Agentic SDLC transformation, embedding AI capabilities throughout the development lifecycle, from planning through delivery, to accelerate innovation and improve product quality.
Avisror brings more than a decade of experience building and scaling enterprise SaaS and cybersecurity products, from initial architecture through global deployment and expansion. Most recently, Avisror served as Executive Vice President of R&D and General Manager at Mend.io, where he led a global R&D organization and oversaw a major transformation that consolidated multiple product lines into a unified application security platform.
Prior to Mend.io, Avisror served as Senior Vice President of R&D at Bringg, where he scaled the company’s global R&D organization, accelerated innovation and product development, and upgraded its last-mile delivery platform to support 10x scale and the requirements of mission-critical systems.
Founded in 2011 by Ofer Bengal and Yiftach Schulman, Redis is led by CEO Rowan Trollope. The company employs approximately 1,300 people worldwide, including around 300 employees at its Tel Aviv site.
