Brandlight lands $30 million Series A as advertising moves into AI answers
The Israeli startup helps global brands manage visibility inside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
Startup Brandlight has raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Pelion Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Cardumen Capital and G20 Ventures. The round brings the company’s total funding since its inception to $36 million. Brandlight develops AI-driven technology that helps companies maximize product and brand exposure.
Brandlight was founded in late 2024 by CEO Imri Marcus, CTO Dvir Dvash and COO Uri Gafni. The company currently employs 35 people across Israel and the U.S. and is actively recruiting both locally and internationally.
As purchasing decisions shift rapidly from traditional Google search to large language model platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, marketing departments at companies of all sizes are confronting a new “black box.” Many are uncertain how their products and services are presented to customers within AI-generated responses.
Brandlight has chosen to focus on major global corporations, including Kimberly-Clark, Estée Lauder, LG, and dozens of other brands. The company has developed a platform that enables control and management of brand visibility and messaging within generative AI environments. The move comes amid expectations that OpenAI will introduce an advertising model in the near future and as Google expands its own initiatives in the field.
“The magnitude of the opportunity facing Brandlight, and the caliber of clients we already serve, require speed and excellence across all parts of the organization,” said Imri Marcus, co-founder and CEO of Brandlight. “We will be hiring dozens of people in the coming year, and we are looking for the best. The company’s rapid growth creates extraordinary opportunities for employees. We want people with the skills and drive to make a real difference in the industry and to join a team that operates without ego and with a deep commitment to shared success.”
