HR in the AI Era
“The growing demand for AI and GenAI security has allowed us to continue building, rather than scaling back,” says Lasso.
According to Lasso Security’s HR manager, rather than replacing roles, the AI revolution is steadily increasing team performance across HR and beyond.
“AI and LLM adoption are at the core of our business, and that naturally influences every part of our operations, from product development to customer success,” shared Ori Eden, HR manager at Lasso Security.
CTech’s "HR in the AI Era" series explores how the AI revolution is impacting the workforce across Israeli high-tech companies. In this series, we uncover the effects (both personal and professional) that this technology shift has had on Startup Nation.
“In HR, the impact is growing steadily,” she added. “While we still rely on human judgment for final hiring decisions and cultural alignment, GenAI is now deeply integrated into how we write job descriptions, source candidates, and streamline onboarding.”

On a scale of 1-10, how much does the AI revolution disrupt your company operation in general, and the HR department specifically?
7
How so?
As a GenAI security company, Lasso is actively building solutions to secure itself. AI and LLM adoption are at the core of our business, and that naturally influences every part of our operations, from product development to customer success.
In HR, the impact is growing steadily. While we still rely on human judgment for final hiring decisions and cultural alignment, GenAI is now deeply integrated into how we write job descriptions, source candidates, and streamline onboarding.
What interesting AI tools do you and your staff use in employee management/recruitment?
ChatGPT, of course, is the top tool we use for content creation, streamlining our workforce, and the hiring process. We also see a lot of value in AI-integrated tools in our ATS platform, as well as Canva.
In which roles or tasks within your company has AI already begun to replace human labor (if at all)?
Mostly content, but we are not replacing but rather increasing the performance of our platforms, engineering, and other day-to-day tasks.
What are the two major challenges you are coping with these days?
Hiring top-tier talent in a highly competitive market. And scaling our team while preserving culture.
Have you experienced workforce-related challenges due to the war, and are you still feeling the impact of the security situation on your human resources?
At the beginning, yes, we experienced workforce-related challenges due to long reserve duty from one of our first engineers and one of our co-founders. However, today the challenges are less HR-related and more tied to the broader perception of being an Israeli-based company.
Have you made changes to your workforce following the increased use of AI tools, both in terms of headcount and internal shifts between departments?
We have hired two AI engineers to join our team in order to build AI into our SaaS offering.
How does the global market uncertainty affect your workforce, in terms of employee numbers or departmental reallocations? Are you scaling your workforce up or down in different regions around the world?
The growing demand for AI and GenAI security has allowed us to continue building, rather than scaling back. We’re not reducing headcount. Our hiring plans prioritize roles that directly support product innovation, customer success, and go-to-market efforts, especially in regions with high AI adoption.
Do you estimate that in 2025–2026 you will increase or decrease the number of personnel? Explain why.
Increase. We are growing fast and putting HR efforts into our Engineering and Sales teams.
