Elbit reaches $450 million in deals in just two weeks

Since the start of the year, the defense giant has landed deals to supply advanced electro-optical systems, rockets for armed forces, as well as the operating and maintaining of simulation centers for the Israeli Air Force's F-16 fleet and the IDF's Armored Corps

Elbit Systems announced on Tuesday that it has signed a contract for approximately $95 million with the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMoD) to supply and maintain advanced electro-optical systems for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) infantry forces. The contract will be performed over a period of 10 years.
As part of the contract, Elbit Systems will supply long-range deployable observation systems and tactical target acquisition systems. In addition, the contract includes maintenance services for the electro-optical systems produced by the company.

Since the start of the year, Elbit has landed deals reaching $452 million for advanced electro-optical systems, rockets for armed forces, as well as the operating and maintaining of simulation centers for the Israeli Air Force's F-16 fleet and the IDF's Armored Corps
Last week, Elbit was awarded a contract in an amount of approximately $70 million to supply rockets to the armed forces of a European country. The contract will be performed over a period of three years. Under the contract, Elbit Systems will supply 122mm extended-range rockets that are intended to significantly increase the performance and effectiveness of operations by allowing ground forces to concentrate fire at an increased range of up to 40 kilometers.
Also last week, Elbit announced that it was awarded a contract in an amount of approximately $180 million from the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMoD) to provide, operate and maintain the new Mission Training Center (MTC) for the Israeli Air Force's (IAF) F-16 fleet. The contract will be delivered over a three-year period with an additional 15 year period that will include operation and maintenance services.

The new Mission Training Center will be added to the existing MTC, that will be upgraded as part of the contract.
On January 3, Elbit was awarded a contract valued at approximately $107 million to provide, operate and maintain the new Main Battle Tank (MBT) simulation and training centers of the Israeli Defense Forces' (IDF) Armored Corps. The centers will be delivered over a three-year period and the contract includes operation and maintenance services for an additional period of 15 years.
The future simulation and training centers will operate on the IDF's cloud using the Elbit Systems' cloud-native platform-agnostic OneSim simulation software infrastructure.
