Viola Ventures appoints Tal Abuloff and Alon Cinamon as Principals

Viola Ventures has announced two new additions to its investment team: Tal Abuloff and Alon Cinamon as Principals to deepen its expertise across vertical AI, fintech, cyber, and AI infrastructure early-stage investments.
Tal Abuloff brings extensive experience in sourcing, investing, and working with early-stage tech companies. She previously served as Principal at Grove Ventures, where she led investments and held board positions in various companies in the field of SaaS, digital health, and vertical AI. Tal is a grantee of the prestigious Fulbright scholarship and holds multiple academic degrees, including an LLB from Tel Aviv University and an LLM from Harvard Law School. She also served at the Israeli Supreme Court under Chief Justice Hanan Melcer.
Cinamon, who joined Viola Ventures earlier this year as a Director, has been promoted to Principal and will further expand the firm’s cyber and AI infrastructure investment activities. Alon has significant experience in early-stage investing, with a focus on cybersecurity, having held prior roles at Ibex Investors and Glilot Capital. Alon is an honors program graduate of Reichman University with a presidential merit scholarship, holding a degree in Business and Data Analytics. He also founded the Venture Capital Club, a nonprofit organization that now operates across six campuses at Israel’s leading universities.
Founded in 2000, Viola Ventures manages over $1.3 billion and has made more than 200 investments in leading Israeli technology companies, including ironSource, Payoneer, Redis, Pagaya, Lightricks, ProteanTecs, Immunai, PayZen, and Faye.
