Katie Kushnir Ventura, Head of HR at Sanofi Israel, said the company’s focus on AI “has been a major domain for us. Not only in processes… but also in drug discovery, clinical trials, and all different departments.” Kushnir Ventura was speaking to CTech at Calcalist’s Israel Growth Conference as part of its "HR in the AI Era" series.
Within its HR department, Sanofi has been using AI to help map out a new people and culture operating model, built around Centers of Expertise and digital platforms that allow employees to find relevant information and solutions 24/7. “Instead of calling, emailing, they can find relevant information… and escalate whatever is needed to different departments,” she further explained.
Kushnir Ventura stated that Sanofi’s approach to AI prioritizes adopting it as a tool to support employees, rather than a means of edging humans out. “We believe in AI not changing positions, employees, and not impacting the headcount, but rather having employees working alongside with AI,” she said.
